How long have you been making your items?
I've been making pottery for 16 years and fused glass for about 14 years.
What items do you specialize in?
Mostly functional pottery pieces and fused glass jewelry
What is your favorite creation you have made?
I've been working with clay slip lately and have made a drippy lamp, where the slip is white and the clay is the natural color.
Where do you find inspiration?
I look around me. I might see a texture I think would be interesting in clay. I'll see something interesting not made in clay and wonder if it would work in clay. It's helpful to see demonstrations by other artists.
What’s your personal motto?
One of them is to be encouraging to others. And... when you work with clay and glass you learn to not get too attached to your product as there's a lot that can happen to it during the creation process.
